Round Island Retreat is on an actual island, perched in the center of Sylvan Lake near Rome City, IN. Your own private island features 4 Bedrooms, 4.5 baths, a fully equipped kitchen and spectacular 360 degree views of the lake.
There are plenty of things to do on the 600 acre lake including skiing, great fishing, tubing and sailing. Our retreat offers access to the lake from two dock locations. Included with your reservation is exclusive access to a pontoon boat.

Summary: Our group of 11 had a wonderful stay on Round Island! The hosts and their property manager were so helpful throughout the trip. While the pictures are beautiful, they do not even do this amazing property justice! This is the perfect stay for big groups wanting to experience the lake. A huge plus is the included pontoon. We were able to drive the boat to get ice cream, have dinner, and visit the Gene Stratton-Porter house. The hosts have thought of everything for a comfortable stay. We already want to return to Round Island!
